i am taking over a controller from another department, and it was poorly managed. The devices on the controller were all out of date and needed a firmware update. 840 gateways and switches, 391 APs, most of which needed updates. 

when i started with some overnight updates i noticed that it appeared that none of them were happening so i started doing them manually, and when i would run updates for lets say SG2008P v3.20, it would only do about 3 or so at a time, and after about 5 times running the same update, it stated that i have excedded the allowe limit of updates at this time. 

Can anyone explain to me what is going on, and if i can change some settings?
