If it does not exceed 2M, it is likely not a wireless performance issue; it is probably due to configuration reasons.

Please provide us with screenshots of your VLAN configuration and hotspot SSID configuration.

What's the firmware version of the EAP225?

Where is the OC200 plugged in? And what is the firmware version?

Sorry for the late reply Vincent,

The controller is slow to respond opening the captive portal page. Some phone would do it much faster but still slow to load the page.

I had to dismount the EAP225, bring it indoors, clean it and test it.

But even thought the configuration is set to gigabit speed I'm experiencing sluggishness on the hotspot. 

I'm using ER605 as my gateway, ES206GP POE switch and the  EAP225, the hotspot default rate is set to 3MB/3MB 

When I ran speed test on the hotspot VLAN I"m only getting 1.8mb most of the time, but never above 2mb.

I'm confused as to what may be causing this slowness because this could be related to the sluggishness I'm experiencing during activating voucher codes for clients.
