I recently went from pre-2.3 firmware to 2.3.3 firmware on ER605. I believe this issue is related to the updated user interface so I think it affects any firmware with new user interface.

 

When trying to type username and password on the login page in Firefox (tested in both Windows and Linux), keystrokes are missing. Meaning, if you press a key on the keyboard, almost 50% of the time the key is not actually received and nothing is inputted in the form. It is not even a delay - it simply does not recognize the keys being pressed.

 

This does not happen in Chrome and Edge.

You may try the following troubleshooting suggestions:

  • Please clear the cache of your Firefox browser and restart the browser afterwards.
  • Please update your Firefox browser to the latest available official version.
  • Please try accessing your device's management web interface in Firefox's private browsing mode.
  • Please make sure no other third-party browser extensions are running in the browser when you open the management page.

  @Jeremy_12 None of that works. Latest versions, cached cleared, no extensions, private browsing - no matter what, there are missing keystrokes.

 

I am not sure what other kind of information do you need. I can troubleshoot if you want me to dig deeper why this happens.
