Does this release deal with the memory issues raised by @mbentley here?

I am having memory issues in a Proxmox container, while using the earlier v6.1.0.19.

  @Vincent-TP

Four days ago I updated to v6.2.0.17 (general release) and since then the memory demand in the Proxmox Container has stabilised at about 2.93gb. I have allocated 4gb and it is not using the swap file.

I'll try v 6.2.10.x to see what happens, but so far the controller/container have not seized.

Hi  @pustekuchen

Thanks for your feedback. Is this menu you are referring to?

If not, please share a screenshot.

A Reboot option in the "Action" Dropdown menu of an EAP would be nice, not just on the devices overview page

Hi  @pustekuchen

Thanks for posting here. Please see my replies below:

  @Vincent-TP I discovered two problems with the new beta firmware.

State: ER707-M2 v1.20 with 2 ISP connections (Glasfaser + VDSL)

Error 1: Load Balancing shows Interface offline (Both are connected!)

>>>According to your description in error2, did you also configure link backup? And is the WAN showing as offline actually the backup WAN? If that’s the case, I think this modification is an optimization by the software, because when link backup is configured and the primary WAN is running normally, the backup WAN will remain in an offline state. That being the case, the load balancing configured here would effectively not be active.Below post for your reference: Common Questions About the Load Balancing, Link Backup(Failover) & Online Detection

Errro 2: Gateway Bandwith Control is broken

Additionally the Gateway QoS / Bandwith Control is broken after the update. I figured out that it seems that the rules apply to the wrong interface. I added the same rule for my backup interface and then the bandwidth control took effect.

Rule for WAN/LAN3 is my Primary connection. 2.5G WAN1 is my Backup connection which should only be used if WAN/LAN3 is down.

Normally i just had only one rule for WAN/LAN3. Now i added the same rule for 2.5G WAN1 with the same paramter and bandwith control is working again!

EDIT:  After Playing around a bit it seems to work now as expected with only WAN/LAN3 Rule. very strange

The observation was that the download speed increased to about 27MB/s but normally with bandwith control it should stay at around 16 MB/s

>>>To summarize what you’ve said, after the upgrade, Geteway QoS was not working properly when only rule WAN/LAN3 was configured. You restored normal functionality by adding rule 2.5G WAN1.

However, after some time, you deleted rule 2.5G WAN1, and now everything is back to normal. Is that correct?

  @Vincent-TP

@error1: OK I understand the background of the reason . @isp info page the status tells offline, too. That's matches. I was confused because it's connected, but offline.

When link backup is active, load balancing could be disabled as option? Because there is no load balancing at this point?

@error2: I just disabled the rule for 2.5 and did not delete it.

I additionally checked the traffic statistic of wan1, no traffic.
