Hi @Vincent-TP,

I'm little bit confused now....

I'm running the Windows Controller version 6.2.0.15 and the build-in update offers me only the 6.2.0.17 Release Candidate - no 6.2.10.x and no Beta.

update

ist this intentional or what is going on?

Hi  @ZoloNN

6.2.0.17 is the official version for 6.2.0.x, it's currently on RC status.

6.2.10.x is a newer version that is still under trial (this post).

You can update to the official 6.2.0.17 version, or join this pre-release project.

Hi @Vincent-TP,

now, I'm confused even more.....

what is the difference between RC, Beta and "Pre-Relase"?

Does this release deal with the memory issues raised by @mbentley here?

I am having memory issues in a Proxmox container, while using the earlier v6.1.0.19.

A Reboot option in the "Action" Dropdown menu of an EAP would be nice, not just on the devices overview page

Re:Omada_Network_Application_V6.2.10.x Pre-Release Firmware (Updated on 3rd Apr, 2026)
Yesterday - last edited Yesterday

@Vincent-TP I discovered two problems with the new beta firmware.

State: ER707-M2 v1.20 with 2 ISP connections (Glasfaser + VDSL)

Error 1: Load Balancing shows Interface offline (Both are connected!)

Errro 2: Gateway Bandwith Control is broken

Additionally the Gateway QoS / Bandwith Control is broken after the update. I figured out that it seems that the rules apply to the wrong interface. I added the same rule for my backup interface and then the bandwidth control took effect.

Rule for WAN/LAN3 is my Primary connection. 2.5G WAN1 is my Backup connection which should only be used if WAN/LAN3 is down.

Normally i just had only one rule for WAN/LAN3. Now i added the same rule for 2.5G WAN1 with the same paramter and bandwith control is working again!

EDIT:  After Playing around a bit it seems to work now as expected with only WAN/LAN3 Rule. very strange

The observation was that the download speed increased to about 27MB/s but normally with bandwith control it should stay at around 16 MB/s
