Hi  @Vishlamba

Thanks for the updates.

Does the situation persist? To further analyze the cause, I have created a support ticket for this case, and the case ID is TKID260459566.

Please kindly check your email inbox and get back to us. Thanks.

  @Vincent-TP Hi

Please me my answer:-

1. How about the display on the controller's web interface? Are they also shown as offline?: Yes they show offline in the web interface also.

2. Is this happening on all clients? Or are there still some clients showing as online? :- Its only happening to a few say 5 to 10. Rest all stay online.

3. What's the firmware version for the switches and EAPs? Is this happening both on wired and wireless clients? Attaching the complete list below, and yes it happens to both wired and wirless clients. Thanks

Re:Hardware Controllers Omada SDN Controller 6.2.10 Pre-Release Firmware (Update on 30th Apr, 2026)

  @Vincent-TP

6.2.10.17 on OC300 seems to be struggling with firmware updates of devices

For example

Controller IP 192.168.0.254 /23

Switch IP 192.168.1.253 /23

OC is directly connected to this switch too.

Same subnet, no ACL restrictions on ports etc on management vlan - firmware upload reached 100% very slowly, it never gets to the point of "Firmware Obtained, updating" and the device on device list just stays on UPDATING for about 10 minutes before going disconnected, then connected again, on original firmware version.

I had a remote switch fail in a similar manner (port forward adoption) over several attempts

Another remote site (VPN adoption) switch upgrade worked fine

EDIT:

After many attempts all my switchs have now been updated to todays builds.  Not sure if the issue is with controller not actually pushing the updates (but saying it is) or somethign about the switch firmwares not accepting them unless you reboot the switch and immediately try again

  @Vincent-TP

Hi,

I have just updated my oc200 to this firmware today, as one can see :
6.2.10.151.40.15 Build 20260417 Rel.51685

However approximately half on button/functionalities does no longer work.
- not even the firmware "button" in the left bar in global view works. - Then it is diffuelt to update the device.

Nor is my client list availiable.. Device and Network config also does not work.. This is not good!

Is there any work around..

Best regards,

Frank

Hi  @MrLightBlue

The version is not the latest one.

Please update to 1.40.17 and see if the situation persists.

OC200(UN)_V1_1.40.17_pre-release (Built-in Omada SDN Controller 6.2.10)

Hi  @MrLightBlue

Does the issue persist on the latest firmware OC200(UN)_V1_1.40.17_pre-release (Built-in Omada SDN Controller 6.2.10)?

We are looking forward to your feedback. Thanks.

Hi everyone,

@mma678, Vincent-TP@GRL

I have just updated the controller to :

6.2.10.181.40.18 Build 20260506 Rel.74003

However 90% of my functions still does not work..

Dashboard, Clients, Logs, Hotspot, Networks Tools and itelliRecover all does not work..

Insights, Network Config and Device Config all also does not work, they only show submenu and none sub "items" does not work - as issue as for those mentioned above.

The only one memu thats works is Devices...

Maybe it is my setup that is causing this issue.. I am running Linux Mint using Firefox.. Can there be something that I have overlooked...?

Thanks in Advance.

The issue seems to be solved with the update.

6.2.10.181.40.18 Build 20260506 Rel.74003

After having cleared browser cache for Firefox, it works..
- Sorry for the inconvenience I have caused.

Hi  @MrLightBlue

Thanks for your feedback, and I'm glad to hear that the issue disappeared.

To understand the potential causes of the issue, would you please provide more details about when the problem occurred:

  1. The specific version number of the browser you were using.
  2. The firmware version number of the OC200 before upgrading to the problematic version.
  3. Was the IP address of your OC200 set to be obtained automatically from DHCP, or was it a static IP?
  4. After completing the upgrade, were you still accessing the controller from the same browser page, or did you try opening a new page to access it?
