Ive installed a C540W 5 months ago covering the main gate entering our estate. Its connected via a TP-Link EAP225 and has worked flawlessly.

 

2 days ago the camera dropped connection with the LED indicator on the camera flashing red.

After powering off and on, it reconnect and signal strength is strong. Connection only holds for 5 - 10min and drops again.

 

Ive tested on various wifi connections with the same result. No conflicting IP addresses.

 

I've also reset the camera to factory settings and the result is the same.

 

What could cause this problem?

Some feedback

I have tested the camera on various wifi networks, 20MHZ and 40MHZ, all instances right next to my AP's.

The problem persists.

 

Network does not disconnect when an ethernet cable is connected directly to the camera, however that defeats the purpose of having a wifi camera.

 

I've since logged a RMA with the place I bought it from
