Hi,

 

I'm having problems routing traffic through my home internet connection using a Wireguard server setup on my router. My Android phone can access the devices on my LAN, but only has access to its mobile internet connection. If I change the Allowed IPs from 192.168.1.0/24, 10.1.0.1/32 to 0.0.0.0/0 I still access my LAN, but have no internet connection. 

 

None of your online guides seem to relate to the latest Firmware.  

 

 

 

 

I have tried setting up different Policy Routings, Firewall rules and vLANs but nothing seems to work. I also have the same issue using OpenVPN.

 

Any advice would be greatly received.

I managed to find a fix in another post :

I basically disabled and enabled Wireguard and  then added a Custom IP under  Local Network Type. Now have LAN and WAN access on my phone.

Thank you for posting on our business forum. 

 

If you wish to set up proxy internet access, you will need to change the allowed IP address to 0.0.0.0/0 for this feature to work correctly.

If it is not working, we would like to kindly request the following information from you:

  • What application are you using on your mobile device to access your WireGuard Server? Is it the Omada VPN APP?
  • Could you please provide us with the version number of your VPN software?
  • Have you attempted testing with a computer configured as the VPN client to check whether you can successfully access the internet?
