Hey I'm wondering if someone can suggest a wireless product to bring my EAP610 outdoor signal inside a metal building? 
 

I get full bars to the exterior of the building but as soon as you enter the building I loose all signal due to the metal clad of the building. 
 

I've been using a cheap Amazon extender which works really good but every now and then the signal gets lost and it take a while to come back. The signal is always still good outside when this happens. 
 

I know most people would install something outside and push wires into the building with another access point in the building. 
 

Im trying to avoid drilling more holes in the building if I don't have to. 
 

Would something like AX3000 WiFi extender do the job wirelessly?

Now understanding that the full bars signal is coming from 300' away, the only low cost solution is probably a Wi-Fi extender.  Depending on your requirements, budget, etc., I would look into a way to mount a weatherproof enclosure on the outside of the metal clad building which would house the extender and not attenuate the signal too much.  Some extenders have an RJ45 connector which could then be used to connect to an interior access point.  Of course, that means running power and data cables to the enclosure, something you mentioned that you are not prone to do.

 

A higher cost solution would be to install a separate bridge kit to connect the two buildings and not depend on the EAP610-Outdoor.  Again, that would require cabling between the exterior/interior of the metal clad building.

I should also note that I tried the tplink ac1900 but it does nothing. The cheap amazon extender does a better job.

I have used several RExxx Wi-Fi extenders in the past and have stopped using them.  First of all, they drop the Wi-Fi speed by one-half as they are half-duplex devices.  Secondly, they must have a decent signal to be able to work properly.

 

Not knowing your coverage requirements, I would consider drilling just 1 hole through the metal clad.  The size of the hole would depend on the use of a rubber grommet or some other type of cable protector.  Since the EAP610-Outdoor does not have an additional RJ45 connector, you would also have to run another cable from the network source.

 

Another alternative would be to use some type of ground (or underground) access into the building for the network cable.

Thanks for the reply but the 610 is over 300’ away so running a network cable to do this isn’t an option.
