Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: the last on site

Hi, I purchased an EB200V Pro router along with a fiber optic subscription. The router has firmware customized by the provider. I use this provider only for a month, I'd like to know if I can reuse this router by restoring the original firmware. I tried downloading the latest firmware online, it loads, but the customization remains (for example, the TP-Link logo has been replaced by the provider's). Is there a procedure you can provide to restore the image stored in the router, for example, via TFTP? Thanks.

Hello @MarcoL75 ,
Regarding firmware customization, TP-Link routers do not officially support it, and we cannot guarantee that ISP-customized firmware can be fully removed through standard firmware update procedures.

You mentioned trying a TFTP recovery procedure, which is typically used to recover firmware on bricked routers. See How to Recover a Bricked TP-Link Router

For ISP-customized devices, we recommend contacting your Service Provider, who supplied the device, as they are best suited to provide the necessary assistance.
