Slow slow slow Wifi
Friday
Model: Archer AX55
Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: 1.1.2 Build 20241014 rel.59971

Ethernet to my ISP modem up and down is about 950 Mbps

Using Wifi up is 65.68 and down 147.11 at about 6 ft.

QoS is off. Parental is Off.  2.4G size set to 40, and 5G set to 160

Bought a USB Wireless AX1800 Wifi 6 adapter. No impact.

I have used the automatic optimization for the channels.

Of course I have gone through the reboot cycle, latest firmware is installed...

Hello  @JesusIsLord ,

Welcome to our community.

You mentioned that you have tested the wired speed of your ISP modem. What about the wired speed of Archer AX55?

Here are additional steps to improve your WiFi performance:
1. Check your WiFi link/associated speed:
First, verify what link speed your device is negotiating with the router. The actual link speed between your WiFi adapter and router may be lower than expected due to distance, interference, or compatibility issues. You can check this in your device's network connection details. For guidance, see: How to check the associated/link speed on a wireless client

2. Manually test different 5GHz channels:
While you've used automatic channel optimization, manually testing specific channels can sometimes yield better results. Log into your router's web interface (http://tplinkwifi.net), go to Advanced > Wireless Settings, and manually try different 5GHz channels (like 36, 40, 44, 48, 149, 153, 157, 161) to find the one with the least interference in your environment.

3. Disable UPNP and SIP ALG:
• Go to the web interface > Advanced > NAT Forwarding > UPNP and disable UPNP
• Go to Advanced > Security and disable SIP ALG
