Hello,

I’m trying to configure a TP-Link SG2210XMP-M2 switch with a MikroTik RB5009 router and an Omada Software Controller.

My setup is as follows:

  • Router: MikroTik RB5009
  • Switch: TP-Link SG2210XMP-M2
  • Omada Software Controller IP: 192.168.50.2
  • Switch VLAN interface IP: 192.168.50.11
  • VLAN ID: 50

Current configuration:

  • The MikroTik router sends VLAN 50 tagged traffic to port 1 on the switch.
  • On the switch, I created VLAN 50 under L2 VLAN settings and tagged it on the uplink port.
  • Under L3 interfaces, I created VLAN interface 50 and assigned it the static IP 192.168.50.11.
  • Port 1 currently has PVID 1.

The issue is that the switch cannot ping the router, and because of that, I’m unable to adopt the switch into the Omada Software Controller.

Could someone please advise what I may be missing?

Hi @yasir_kun

Thanks for reaching out to TP-Link Business Forums.

You can refer to this article: How to Maintain Management VLAN and Port Settings When Adopting Switches on Omada Network V6 | Omada Network Support

And the Port 1 PVID should be 50.
