Hi everyone,

I didn't find the same problem on forum so I want to find some help with my issue making a new post. My idea was to connect ISP modem/router with ER605 and then spread connection to Deco X50 from ER (later I will add some switch, now I just don't need one). My first question is if I can connect and use mesh with two decos in a star like connection (both connected to the ER605), decos set as an AP. Secondly, I have connected ER605 to the ISP modem OptiXstar EG8145B7N-50 and it looks fine, I can connect to the ER settings via IP. Problem is that decos do not reach internet connection but already see IP, by the side of ER I see that there are lan clients, deco too. When I connect my computer I can connect via IP to the ER settings but I don't have internet connection. I tried to change Lan IP from 192.168.0.1 to 1.1 and Lan clients to 1.100 ÷ 1.200 and everything looks and works the same. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. If anyone could help I would be thankful.

Hi @mdn89

Thanks for reaching out to TP-Link Business Forums.

The problem you are experiencing seems to be no internet connectivity on the ER605.

In this case, please check the following:

1. Verify that the ER605 WAN interface has a valid IP address, gateway, and DNS. Make sure you enter all the correct credentials in the WAN settings section.

2. Use the diagnostic tools on the ER605 to test connectivity (e.g., ping 8.8.8.8).

3. Ensure there is no IP subnet conflict between the ER605 LAN and the ISP modem.

4. Connect a PC to the ISP modem directly and check if you can access network.

Once the ER605 WAN has proper internet access, all connected devices (including Deco units in AP mode) will work normally.
