Could you please confirm if you are using a on-premiss controller, and would you be so kind as to share the specific model of your controller with us?

You noted that you are unable to communicate with the ER605 after adding it to the controller.  This may caused by a VLAN mismatch: after the ER605 is added, it is assigned to a different VLAN than the one your PC is connected to, which results in the communication failure. Please check if you can ping to the ER605 after the adoption. If possible, could you also provide more relevant details about the issue to help us conduct an accurate analysis?

Additionally, our ER605 is generally compatible with other networking devices. As long as the configuration is set correctly, VLAN settings can be properly delivered to its downstream devices, even if those downstream devices are third-party networking equipment.
