It's as simple as that, my account has seemingly got a hotel in China linked to it with dozens of live clients, unless its some sort of demo?? I can't get the extender to work in my own house up the stairs yet I can (I'm assuming) disrupt the system of a hotel thousands of miles away (I'm in the UK). 

 

The live chat option is absolutely pointless so this is my next resort - after this I'll be disconnecting and deleting everything on the account that is under my name and email address so any help gratly appreciated as I don't particualrly want to disrupt anything for anyone! I would however like the extender to work in my own home.

How to find the hardware and firmware version of my TP-Link device

  • If you use the Tether App to manage your TP-Link device, please provide your TP-Link ID and the App version you are using.
  • What client devices are connected to your network? Please specify their exact model numbers.
  • Most importantly, how did you determine that your TP-Link device was connected to a large number of "live clients"? Could you please provide relevant screenshots?
  • If you have any other relevant information, please feel free to include it as well.
