Problem: 

Following a factory reset of the ER605 and the Omada controller provisioing the router back, the Flag for client static IP address is not preserved or applied.

 

Steps:

1. Use an Omada Controller to manage the router

2. Setup the router default LAN to a none default subnet (192.168.10.1/24) and enable DHCP

3. Configure Clients with static IP address assignments. Checking the box " Use Fixed IP Address" and entering an IP.

4. Perform a factory reset on the ER605

5. Connect to the reset router directly, create a new admin account, enable DHCP, set the subnet.

6. Connect to the Omada controller. (If it had a static IP address, it has now moved)

7. In Omada perform the adopt of the ER605 router. 

8. Wait for the Omada to apply all the settings to the router.

9. Look at all the clients that had a static IP address assigned. The "Use Fixed IP Address" is NOT checked. Checking the box, the previous IP address is there.

 

The problem I've encountered with the ER605 has happened with multiple firmware versions (2.3.1, 2.3.3, 2.4.0) 

 

I'm using the OC200 - 6.2.10.182.25.18 Build 20260506 Rel.74187
