How i can create guest access in EAP 115(users should not acecess to LAN )?
Is it possible??
SSID isolation does not work.....

There is TL-R480T+ router in the network (with Port-Based VLAN).
Is it possible configure EAP with TL-R480T+ to separate wifi clients and LAN?

No, you would need a VLAN-capable L3 switch between TL-R480T+ and the EAP115 to assign the two VLANs to two subnets, to route traffic and to use ACLs for isolation. I use a cheap router running OpenWRT to separate traffic from the EAP VLAN trunk into two separate subnets (LAN and GUEST). This way, the two subnets can be easily isolated using firewall rules.

So what do you think how VLANs could be used on a single Ethernet port if not with 802.1Q tagging? :)

Quote from EAP User's Guide (V1), page 13:

SSIDs can work together with switches supporting 802.1Q VLAN. The EAP can build up to eight virtual wireless networks per radio for users to access. At the same time, it adds different VLAN tags to the clients which connect to the corresponding wireless network. It supports maximum 8 VLANs per radio. The clients in different VLAN cannot directly communicate with each other.


Thanks god they forgot to describe it on the website only rather than describing it on the website and forgetting to implement it in the device. :D
