It can be frustrating if the network adapters are not being recognized by the computer, which may manifest as the adapter not being listed in the Device Manager, in some cases, the adapter disappears from the network adapter list after waking up from the Sleep Mode.
This phenomenon could have something to do with PCI Express slot settings on your PC motherboard. Recently we have heard from two users who solved the problem by adjusting the PCIe Slot settings in Bios, we’d like to share the solutions that worked for them with the community and hope these help others too.

[Solution] Wi-Fi 6 TX3000E can’t be detected
Case 1: Using M.2 Slots Affects PCIe slots
Motherboard: Asus ROG STRIX X470-F GAMING
Model: Archer TXE75E
Description: Computer can not identify the wireless adapter.
The user has tried different PCI-E card slots on the computer. Upon checking the manual of the motherboard, there was a M.2 interface on the motherboard and might affect the PCIe slot, we suggest him to modify this part.
Solution:
As he reported back, he solved the isse by switching his SSD to the M.2_1 and then reinstalling the adapter to the PCI-E X1, with this adjustment the TX75E can now be detected by the computer.
This is what he wrote:
'I saw on some articles that certain slots can disable PCI-E port. Some M.2 socket connector shares bandwidth with PCI-E slot. The PCI-E slot could become unavailable when a device is installed in the M.2 slots.’
The user also shared some findings with us. If there is a M.2 slot on the motherboard, first you’ll want to double-check your motherboard specifications to see which M.2 slot to use without disabling or affecting the PCI slot.
Case 2: Editing PCI-E Slot Configuration Settings in Bios
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B450-F Gaming Motherboard.
Model: Archer TX3000E
Description: The wireless adapter is not recognized after waking up/restarting/shutting down from Sleep Mode.
Thanks @pcuser2323 for sharing this solution.
Solution:
Adapter is in the PCIEX1_3 slot. pcuser2323 changes the setting in the BIOS, "Advanced" tab, under "Onboard Devices Configuration", there is an option for "PCIEX16_3 CONTROL". It was set to Auto, with options for X2 and X4 control. Manually setting this option from "Auto" to "X2" enables the PCIEX1_2 and PCIEX_3 slots. This has (so far) fixed the problem.
If the PCIEx16_3 works in X4 mode, the PCIEx1_2 and PCIEx1_3 slots are disabled. Therefore, you need to manually set the mode of PCIEx16_3 to X2 mode to prevent the PCIEx1_3 slot from being automatically identified and enabled.
If you encounter similar problems, here are some suggestions:
-
Try to change other PCI-E interface.
-
Check the description in the PCI-E section of the motherboard manual and verify whether the motherboard has restrictions on the use of the device.
-
Try adjusting the settings about PCI-E in BIOS.
-
If a problem cannot be identified after waking up, disable the PSPP in the BIOS.
-
In addition, there may be some settings about saving electricity and so on, which may cause the problem. Learn more tips from post here [Solution] Wi-Fi 6 TX3000E can’t be detected.
