I purchased this switch so that I could use it to plug my VOIP Shoretel Phone and my Apple TV.  My shortel phone is plugged directly into the wall (I assume PPOE), but wit will noyt work when I plug it into the switch.  Any ideas?

HI cgatl

This is a plug and play device, it should not block the traffic.

How about the Apple TV, can it work normal?

@cgatl Bump. This switch does not play well with my Linksys PAP2. Terrible!

@cgatl

If your "wall" gives PoE for your IP-phone, then TL-SG1005D is not PoE device and your phone will not be powered up. It should not affect Apple TV though.

@Mitya Any thoughts WRT my Linksys PAP2? I have no PoE requirements.

If you do not need PoE, then this unmanaged switch should not affect your work somehow. Sorry, unlikely you find a solution here.
