I bought two EAP245 APs, and am attempting to mesh them together. They were advertised as Mesh ready, so i am trying to get them to mesh together. I adopted the first AP and enabled mesh, but when plugging in the second AP, the controller will not detect the AP as an isolated AP and allow meshing. Is there something I am missing to enable meshing the APs together?

Running a long cable is not an solution as far it will cost a lot of money the get cabled solution in this place. All soho repeaters work. Actual ist works with an avm repeater, but i want to exchange them.

@TWulf Contact TP-LINK they have a beta with mesh firmware that works well. I've been using it for a while now with no problems.

You have to ask TP-LINK for Mesh firmware to EAP245V3 and they make one for you.

After several emails with the helpdesk they refused to get a special update.
I'm not sure if they are know what they are doing there. There is still no working upgrade since a year working on this feature!
Is their any change you send me your firmware for testing?

OK strange. but i can't help you, i don't have this file anymore. did you send a request to support.smb@tp-link.com? I have EU version of access point maybe you have another access point that they don't have a beta to yet? What region are you from?
