Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.0.5 Build 20160912 Rel.32686

Hi guys,

I've 2 SG2210P one installer into ground floor, and another installer into 1st floor.

PoE is enabled on all ports because I've some PoE devices installed (EAP Wifi access point, some cctv etc)

When I try to connect them togher using CAT5E cable, one of the SG2210 turns off!!

I've installed the last fw available....any help?

I've tried also to replace one of the switch with a new one...same issue; if I replace one of the SG2210P with another switch of different brand everything works correctly

Thanks in advance

Marino

Please check if the total power of your powered devices exceeds the power budget of SG2210P.

My System Power Consumption in only 8.3w

Should I disable PoE on the port used for trunk between switches?

T1500G-10PS v1 can upgrade the firmware of V2. You can have a try. But you need to re-configure the switch after upgrding.

But I have TL-SG2210P v1, can I use fw of T1500G-10PS v1  on my device?

If your switch is TL-SG2210P v1, you cannot upgrade the firmware of T1500G-10PS V1. If your switch is T1500G-10PS(TL-SG2210P) V1, then you can upgrade to V2. And if "switch turns off" means you cannot access internet, please try to check if you can ping the switch, make sure that has not IP conflict between your switches. If it means the switch has no power, it may has hardware issue, suggest to replace the new switch.
