Hi TPlink community!

I have some issues with my L2TP VPN network using ER6020 V2 and R600 V4 routers.

Some times I notice that some users have the IPsec protocol connected but the L2TP does not connect. For such situation i have 2 solutions:

1) Reboot the R600 remote router asking someone at the remote site to turn off and on  the router. This solves 80% of the isues.
2) Reboot the ER6020 at the main site. This solves that 20% of times that the iten 1 not solves the problem but disconnect my entire VPN network.

My question is : Is there a way to disconnect a specific IPSec connection at ER-6020 in order to force my remote R600 router to start a new connection? This will avoid to dsconnect the VPN of all other remote sites and (try to ) solve that specific connection issue.

I see that at IPsec SA screen has selection checkboxes but see no action to do with those selected itens.

Best Regards.

@MOV

If your ER6020 is a L2TP VPN server, you can re-enable VPN server. It will make all VPN tunnel re-build.

If each R600VPN use different VPN account to connect to ER6020, you can re-enable the item of the VPN account to make the specific VPN tunnel re-build.

@Andone

I see no enable / disable option at ER6020 Users screen. There is only Add and Delete options. Can you show me where I can enable / Disable an specific L2TP tunnel?

Regards

Sorry that I get the wrong information. I check TP-Link website again. It seems that has not way to disable the specific tunnel. Maybe you can try to edit the VPN item then save again, do not change any settings, check if it will make the tunnel re-build.
