Hello,

I have two T1700G-28TQ in stack configuration in our data center.

What I want to reach is to have each port of SW1 to be in LACP group of same port of SW2, so SW1-P1/SW2-P1, then SW2-P2/SW2-P2, to obtain a full HA cluster for my servers.

What I want to do is go to Switching / LAG / LACP Config, then select port1/unit1 and port1/unit2 and apply admin key 1 and enable.

Then same for port2/unit1 port2/unit2 with admin key 2, and so on.

I wanted to start with port 15 because I have a test server on that port not in production yet.

Problem is, I get an error if I use Admin Key 15: "Admin Key Is Illegal!".

Why? Do I have a limit on the number of LACP groups I can create through admin keys?

Thanks!
Gabriele

Dear @gbulfon,

Problem is, I get an error if I use Admin Key 15: "Admin Key Is Illegal!".

Please note that the valid value of the Admin Key is determined by the maximum number of LAG supported by your switch.

The T1700G-28TQ supports up to 14 LAGs, the valid value is from 1 to 14.
