Amber light
Hi,
I have a TP-link TL-SG 105 switch and I have connected my digital TV and my smart TV to the switch. The two ports is showing a orange Amber light and I don't know what I'm doing wrong since the port light should be lit in green.
My Internet connection is 300 Mbs down and 10 Mbs upload.
Anyone got any suggestions what to do?

Orange LEDs indicate 100Mb connections - it's all covered in your manual, but it's also typical of all switches, no led - no connection, yellow/amber - 100Mb green 1000Mb and flashing in either colour - activity at the given speed

Dear @Jonatan87,

The orange Amber light indicates that the connected device negotiates at 10/100Mbps. If your TV is 1000Mbps capable but the port shows orange Amber light, it's suggested to change other Ethernet ports and try a different cable for checking.
