I recently purchased this switch: TP-LINK T2700G-28TQ JetStream 28-Port Gigabit Stackable L2+ Managed Switch

Not being an expert on ths subject, I only found out afterwards that in order to get it working with 10G, we need one of these:

To assist you effectively, may I check your application scenario and network requirements? Do you have two of the T2700G-28TQ?

The TXM431-LR is a 10GBase-LR SFP+ Transceiver, you may need to know what it is and how to use before the purchase,

So the TXM431-LR supports 1310nm, 9/125um single-mode Fiber with LC/UPC port type, we need to connect it with Fiber cable.

With the TXM431-LR plugged into the SFP+ port on the T2700 switch, the SFP+ port is finally connected through a Fiber cable for 10Gbps connection.

Do you have a 10Gbps fiber connection at the other end of the connection?
