Model: TL-SG1016PE
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.0.0 Build 20191218 Rel.49932

I'm trying to use this switch's PoE function to power TL-WA1201 V2 AP. The AP doesn't turn on any of the 1-8 PoE enabled ports. It works with its included PoE injector over the same cable. I even tested it with different cables to no avail. Does anyone know what is the reason for this? From what I researched, the PoE standards match on both devices.

Dear @Zachar ,

The TL-WA1201 doesn't support standard PoE, from its specification, it supports passive PoE.

We cannot use the Tl-SG1016PE to power up the AP since the switch supports standard PoE only.
