LAN routing between two TL-ER6020
Hi all,
we are trying to combine two currently seperated networks (office & production) which are both based on TL-ER6020 routers.
Currently the routers are both configured as
- Port1: WAN1 (static IP): Internet uplink / ISP
- Port2-5: LAN
The general idea is to link both routers by an additionally defined WAN port and add static routing, so that both LAN networks may reach each other:
Router1 (Office)
- Port1: WAN1 (static IP): Internet uplink / ISP
- Port2: WAN2 (static IP, e.g. 192.168.30.1/24): link to Router2
- Port3-5: LAN (e.g. 192.168.10.0/24)
Router2 (Production)
- Port1: WAN1 (static IP): Internet uplink / ISP
- Port2: WAN2 (static IP, e.g. 192.168.30.2/24): link to Router1
- Port3-5: LAN (e.g. 192.168.20.0/24)
As we had some issues configuring this, should this be generally possible with the TL-ER6020's? In the end we would only allow specific hosts to use the link by filtering, but thats the next step.
Best,
Martin
