Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.7.3 Build 20201119 Rel.63433

Hi,

I am having a problem with setting up SNMP communication.

Settings > Services > SNMP > SNMPv1 & SNMPv2c set to ON

Community String set.

Device does not respond.

Tried from my PC with Paessler SNMP Tester. Bad result with SNMP v2:

Same with SNMP v1:

It is not a case of firewall. I can test other devices in my network from the same PC. SMTP OC200 does not work also with me monitoring system (checkmk).

Will be glad 4 any help

Mikolaj

@Mikolaj that setting only enables SNMP on switches, routers and AP's not the OC200. If you do an snmpwalk on an EAP or switch IP you should get a response.

Example:

# snmpwalk -v 2c 192.168.0.5 -c public iso.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0

iso.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0 = STRING: "Linux EAP245 3.3.8 #1 Fri Sep 18 16:46:11 CST 2020 mips"

@Mikolaj

Performed the test of OC200 open ports.

Result: there are only 3 ports open: 80, 443 and 8088.

So SNMP is not open. Additionally I have enabled  SSH on WLC GUI.

Port 22 Ii is not open either !

Where is the problem ?

@Alex

Thx Alex for a reply that is 100% correct ! heart

On the other hand this SNMP feature is absolutlly badly described in OIC200 GUI.
