Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

In the standalone documentation for the TL-R605, I can find docs on how to configure a mapping of MAC to IP address.

However, since I am using the oc-200 controller, I have to administer this device via the controller.  I can not find where to configure this mapping in the controller interface.  Does anyone know where to find it?

Thanks!

Just a note,  I have tried to go directly to the Router to configure this settings, but it will not allow me use the configuration interface since its being managed by the controller.

@av_boy

To assign a static IP against a MAC you need to click on the client and go onto the config page. The fixed IP address is at the bottom. You can only select an IP address which is within the DHCP range given by the interface so its far from ideal....

Hopefully they allow someway of seeing a full list of static IP addresses given as well as allow you to give ones not in the DHCP range of the interface.

@Adoril I'm also trying to assign IP to clients and have found the settings you pointed out, but as far as I can tell not all network clients can be seen there. Where can I find the full list of clients that have received an IP address from the router?

@tobiasselin

this is also frustrating me.. i cannot see all my devices on the network..it seems that its some of the devices that i've statically assigned addresses on them themselves.

@tobiasselin

If you go to the insight page on the left hand side i use that to find older devices which are not currently connected.

Its not the ideal system.... really could do with a simple list of all static reservations which have been made!

@Adoril Thank you

I've found most of my clients now. The only one that doesn't show up is an easy smart switch (SG-105E), which I find odd. I understand I can't manage it with the OC200 but it is a client on the network so I should at least see it. Any ideas?

@Adoril

Perhaps I should also add that the clients that are not visible are all connected to switches that are connected to eth2 on two different EAP245v3.

@tobiasselin

Unfortunately i only have a EAP225 so can't experiment with a secondary device off a EAP245.

I will add that from my experience so far with SDN it is fine (aside from the limited functionality in places) for straight forward setups e.g. Router-Switch-APs, but if you do anything a bit odd it doesn't seem to like it. For example i tried to create two uplink ports from my switch to router, one for VLAN10 one for VLAN20.... after a day of fiddling i just felt it was more hassle than it was worth. For reference i had an Edgerouter before this which i found offered alot of more functionality but agreeably at a cost of being more complex to use.

@tobiasselin

That is correct. I have the same situation.
