Hardware Version: V4
Firmware Version: v4

Interface gi 1/0/1 IP addr = 10.10.6.195 /24

VLAN 1 = 172.16.5.13 /24

VLAN 30 = 192.168.30.5 /24

I've set up my interface gi 1/0/1 as a routed port but I noticed that there's a VLAN ID of 1000 for some reason.

I'm wondering if how can you make a VLAN status "up" you can see there I've created VLAN30 and added interface gi 1/0/5 as an untagged port then created static IP address 192.168.30.5.

I can't even ping my gateway which is a pfsense LAN interface 10.10.6.10

I've added static route DEST network: 10.10.6.0 /24, Next Hop: 10.10.6.195

I wonder why it's so complicated... I've done this set up in a Cisco switch is there a big difference that I need to know? Thank you for helping.

@mariem56 I'm wondering if I could just setup my pfSense to have a VLAN 100 with network 10.10.10.0 /24 and setup VLAN 100 with network 10.10.10.0/24 in a TP link switch to avoid this problem.
