Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 1.8.0 Build 20210406 Rel.58757

Dear ...,

I have bought a TL-SG2218 (UN) ver 1.0 which should be compatible with the OC200. When I login via the standard setting and the web-ui on the switch I have ticked the box for controlling via the OC200. Then I switch the network cable from the laptop to the router (ER7206) and login in at the controller. Then adopting pop-up, I adopt. So far so good. The switdh recieves 192.168.0.253 form the controller. But I will change 192.168.0.253 to 192.168.0.199. I use the following print screen (is from an oher switch as example; the 197 will 199 ;-) )

I'm running with several VLAN's, should this done for all the VLAN's (I haven't done before and it works fine).

When I have put in al the facts, the switch will pop-up with configuring and adopting. But from there, it runs continues in adopting, but it wil not adopt with this ip 192.168.0.199. Then I have to reset the switch and start over. But it will not adopt.

Should this box actived? --> unicast DHCP

Has someone a suggestion?

This are the settings for LAN

The IP 192.168.0.253 is a fall back ip address. I can't find what I have done wrong.

this should be the change:

Thanks

Bart

@BartD.

Solved! Don't give a switch the same IP as the Controller!

@TP-Link; is it possible to add the controller in the device list / overview? To avoid these kind of issues ;-)

@Somnus

Yep, there it is shown. Is it also possible to show in the "device list"?
