Hi,

 

Any suggestions on how to access a Modem on the ER605 WAN Port..?  Want to monitor DSL stats...

 

My modem is a TD-W9970 in Bridge Mode and its LAN Address is 192.168.254.254.

The PPPoE session is handled by the ER605.

I can access Modem via its LAN, but can't see it from the Router.

 

If I use the same setup with an ASUS RT66u, then I can see the Modem fine.

 

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious...

@Steve_McD You can monitor the status of the wan port on the controller.

@Yannie Thanks, I can see these stats standalone too...

 

Unfortunately the router is unaware of the DSL stats (errors etc.), and these are important with poorer links.

They are available in the Modem, however, and it would be very useful to access them from behind the router.

 

Hoping this is simple. It just seems built in to my RT66u...
