Model: EAP225
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version: 5.0.3

Hello All

I currently have 2 x EAP225 v3 connected to a TP LINK POE (unmanaged) switch.  Also connected to the POE is my OC200.

The POE switch is connected to my SKY ISP router via Cat5e at 1000 Mbps.

The OC200 is set up with AI/Fast roaming etc and works well.

Now, I am thinking of adding a third EAP225 but this time due to where is going it will either need to connect to another POE switch and then onto ISP router OR directly connected to ISP router (using supplied POE injector).

As this is all on the same network/no VLANS configured etc will the OC200 still be ok making the AI/Fast roaming decisions ?

I cant see it being a problem but wondered if I need to watch out for anything ?

Please note this is in a home and not a business site.

Thanks

Ben

@Benje

You could either add another POE switch, or injector into the ISP Router.. either will work for you!
