Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V7
Firmware Version: 4.4.6

Hi,

I followed the migration step by step to move my router over to my newly setup OC200 and connected switch

Everything seemed to go great until the point where the EAp and Router had to be adopted by the new controller

It has requested the username and password of the device.

I had the password written down

I wasn't sure on the user name, but I have tried:

-  admin

- my email address

- another username that I often use when a username is required

I have tried every combination of these and also the password into the tplinkcloud, but nothing works??

Is the best option now just to hard reset the router and the EAP?

cheers

Tony

@tony.young4650

Best option is just to reset the device and re-adopt it mate.

When using a controller its best practice not to even log into the APs.. leave them on default and let the adoption do the work for you :)

@tony.young4650 Try to use the Device Account.You can check the device account at Settings->Site->Device Account on Omada Controller.

@Saki_DZ

good suggestion as I wasn't aware of that password 👀

But that didn't work either.

Looks like a reset is the only option
