Model: OC200
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.77

I just purchased an Omada system for my home network. Everything arrived except the OC200 so I decided to set up the system using the software controller until the OC200 arrived.

Well, it arrived today and now I can't seem to migrate from the software controller to the OC200. I get an error that "The imported file comes from the Omada Controller with a higher version, which is incompatible with the current controller."

Now that I look at it, it all makes sense: the Software Controller is v5.9.9 and the OC200 is v5.7.6.

So now what do I do?! Am I stuck?

I appreciate any help that someone can give me.

  @DocPMD

the only possibility is to wait for 5.9.9 to OC200 before you migrate, or start from scratch on a new controller

  @DocPMD

ahh, so if you do a backup, it wont import on the oc200 ??

could roll back the software controller, that might work..

debating thew oc200 as well, waiting on a update to pull the trigger

Yah, that's what I figured.

I ended up just setting things up over again. Took me about an hour.

But if there truly is no solution I would feel bad for people with larger systems to deal with.
