Dear, there is a thread about the same topic but i need additional clarification if possible. https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/257016

I have a EAP245 and I'd like to buy more EAP245 or a  EAP620 HD V2  to create a seamless WiFi in my house.  I understood I need a OC200. I understood that OC200 and the AP must be connected in the same ethernet line without any additional items in between if not OMADA compliant. is it rigth?

I have modem/router (Zyxel ) conneted to the fisrt EAP245 directly and to a switch that distribute furthermore the lan to other equipments and the other EAP245. If I connect the OC200 to this switch ( not Omada - not from TP-LINK).  will I have a seamless WiFi from the 2 Access point mentioned above? If not, how should I do it?

Thank you very much

Yes it should work fine, you can use any router or switcher you want together with TP-Link EAP

Thank you. so, even if in between of the 2 AP (2 X EAP245) I have no OMADA compliant router or switches, Omada and the SEAMLESS routing should work fine. (OC200 is required - we said already) When I will have it installed, how can I check it is working? is it enough to see both AP in the OMADA software? Thank you

You have to enable fast roaming, there is no way to se if this work but other than try. your device have to support 802.11k/v

Hey

Just to jump in here... if roaming is working between the 2x APs (which it should if you enable it).. under LOG  EVENTS you will see roaming happening between the APs as you move around.   Example below
