Hello,

I could really use some help. I'm trying to design a mesh system for a large outdoor space.

The first span is around 700 ft of thick woods.

The second span is about 400ft of woods.

I was thinking about using a CPE710 > CPE710 > CPE210

Would this act as a mesh Wi-Fi system? If I'm standing between the CPE710 units would I have Wi-Fi signal?

I am also looking at the omada system, EAP225, would this be a better choice?

Thank you.

@Onemoreguy Hi I don't think CPE710 can build a Mesh network. It only has direction antenna and it is designed for point-to-point connection.

Also CPE710 only supports 5Ghz, means it cannot work with CPE210 that runs on 2.4Ghz.

EAP225-Outdoor could be a better solution, but you may need multi units to build this network. One EAP225-Outdoor can handle about 300 feet, so you will need one root AP and at least 2 downlink AP.

Here is a guide about Omada Mesh network.
