could someone please explain how to if possible use two eap225s to bridge between two separate buildings. i have starlink in one building and want to send it to the other wirelessly to the other max distance 400ft.

if you need to cover a big area, you need eap outdoor

if you need simply shoot the wireless to another point, you use cpe for p2p setup.

  @fatdog22003 at that distance I would not try to use the two EAP225 as a bridge. Some people have kind of turned their noses up at this configuration that I use but its performance over the past two years has been phenomenal. Get one of the following and place it at the remote location and connect in client mode ot the EAP225.

 

1. CPE210 connects on 2.4ghz. 300Mbps but limited to 100Mbps by the port on included POE injector

2. CPE510 connects on 5ghz. 300Mbps but limited by same as above.

3. CPE710 connect on 5ghz. 1000Mbps

 

Third option is what I use and I am connected in client mode to my main AP, which is an EAP610. I get full ISP bandwidth. Diagram below shows my configuration. The only note would be that you need to manually set the 5ghz channel on the EAP to one supported by the CPE, which is no big deal.
