Problem with DHCP
@Fae @Kevin_Z
Both,
Just as a point of information based on my N of 1....
I ended up needing to do a config restore on one of our OC200s. Following the restore process, DHCP was not issuing ip address on any of the Networks/VLANS.
I found this post: https://community.tp-link.com/en/business/forum/topic/158323?page=1.
As a result I tried turning off DHCP Server, save settings, turning on DHCP Server, save settings for each Network/VLAN. After that DHCP was working again.
Best,
Carl

Dear @clangren,
You're correct, and the resolution has been included in the official firmware 2.1.2, which was released several days ago.
ER605 V2_2.1.2 Official Firmware (Released on Feb 14th, 2023)
Please take your time to upgrade the 2.1.2 firmware and confirm the DHCP issue you encountered has been resolved.

It appears the DHCP server was down this AM. It was working approximately 8 hours ago.
Did the same process. This time tried "turn off/save/turn on/save" for the DHCP server on one VLAN/network - immediately DHCP is working again.
Will monitor and report in a day or two..
Thanks,
Carl

The issue has reoccurred. DHCP server functionality was down this AM. It was working 8 to 9 hours ago.
The scheduled activity related to the router was as follows:
- Recurring weekly wireless AI run at 11PM (Moving this to daily to see if it has any impact)
- Recurring nightly reboot of the ER-605 at 1AM (By external power device, not by internal ER-605 service)
Enabled/disabled DHCP servers (2 of them) and DHCP functionality was restored.
The problem started between 10PM 01/26/2023 and 7AM 01/27/2023. (Not that this matters, just tracking it here)

The issue has reoccurred - third time. DHCP server down this AM. It was working 8 to 9 hours ago.
Only change in scheduled activity was move wireless AI run to daily as noted above:
- Recurring daily wireless AI run at 11PM (Result of moving to daily was the problem reoccurred)
- Recurring nightly reboot of the ER-605 at 1AM (By external power device, not by internal ER-605 service. No changes here.)
As per previous experience, enabled/disabled DHCP servers (1 of them) and DHCP functionality was restored.
The problem started between 10PM 01/27/2023 and 6AM 01/28/2023. (Not that this matters, just tracking it here)
==================================================================================================
All of the above events made it seem likely that the wireless AI run was bringing down the DHCP server functionality, so did the following this morning.
- Enabled/disabled DHCP servers (only required doing so with 1 subnet) and confirmed DHCP functionality was restored on all subnets before starting AI run.
- Ran wireless AI (6:00AM).
- When the wireless AI pass was complete (6:25AM), all DHCP servers were non-functional.
Seems pretty causally related at this time. I am disabling wireless AI until a new firmware update is released.
Any input would be most welcome.

Dear @clangren,
Thank you for taking the time to report the issue in the community and continuously update the information! I don't think that the wireless AI could affect the DHCP function, but it's hard to tell for now. Your case has been forwarded to the support engineers for further investigation.
To better follow up with the issue, I've created a support ticket via your registered email address, and escalated it to our support engineers to provide further assistance. The ticket ID is TKID230150740, please check your email box and ensure the support email is well received. Thanks!

Dear @clangren,
Hope you are doing well. Our support team reported that they haven't received your email reply at all.
Have you ever received the support email who case ID is TKID230150740? Or was your concern resolved on your own finally?
We are looking forward to hearing from you again.

Many thanks to the TP-Link Tech Support team for sorting this issue.
As suggested by @Fae, the issue was not AI optimization itself, but rather something which the AI optimization facilitated identifying.
My understanding is the resolution will be included in the next firmware release.
