Model: ER605 (TL-R605)
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2.1.2 Build 20230210 Rel.62992

Hi,

I setup my ER605 as an client OpenVPN, this part working good.

Now I want only route a listed IP's onto the OpenVPN and let the rest go directly through internet on the local router.

Can I ?  With ER605 settings or .ovpn config file ?

Thx

Kawb

 Thx for your answer

I use "ER605 client OpenVPN" not server.

When on my other Open vpn client config.ovpn I Put "route-nopull" no traffic is use through the VPN but on my ER605 the same conf is always sending through the VPN.

We can connect to ER605 with SSH ?  I have "Connection refused"

Thx

Kawb

OpenVPN Routing on ER605

I'm totally confused for the openvpn client part.

I have a standard configuration, with no specific options.

The router successfully mounts the VPN session to my OPVN server but it does not route anything into it.

The same conf (same login) file on an Android device and everything is OK. Full routing in the VPN.

So I went from everything going in to nothing going on without making any changes.
I reset it and restart most bacic conf....nothing better!

This equipment seems to do what it wants ... totally disappointed.

Actually, if you use L2TP VPN to set as the VPN Client and connect to the VPN Server, you can set a policy routing to achieve your needs.

For example, once you are connected to the VPN server, go to Transmission>Policy Routing, create a new entry and select all for protocol.
Choose the VPN tunnel you just created for the WAN (it should be connected to the VPN server before the tunnel is displayed).

However, the same steps are not supported currently for OpenVPN. You can't find the OpenVPN tunnel/Interface when you set the policy routing.
