I've been a TP link guy for a while since we had them installed at work, and I've been very happy with the interface, and the simplicity.

I've purchased the ER707-M2 (I haven't received it yet) and there's a surprising lack of information about it beyond the normal spec sheet.

The two things in trying to figure out:

1: The specs say it has an embedded controller, but when I read the manual it seems to suggest you either have a hardware controller already or you need to download the software. I have a VM environment so running the software in a container/docker isn't a big deal, but I thought the whole 3-in-1 thing meant there was an integrated controller. It says as much right on the box and in the advertising, but the install guide seems to suggest otherwise.

2: With link aggregation: I have a 3gbps home internet connection. I know there's the 2.5 Wan ports and the 1gb ports, but I'm wondering: can I aggregate a 2.5 AND a 1gb connection to get a full 3gbps?

I'm trying to hunt down the user manual (not the installation guide) because I suspect the answers I'm looking for are there however I can't seem to track it down either.
