Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 5.1.0

There are many threads about this issue. But somehow this seems to be a new one or i can't find the solution. So please help em out here.

Network setup for this case:

1 Hardware controller

1 R605 router

1 SG2210P switch

1 EAP 245 (wired)

1 EAP 225 (wired)

1 EAP 225-outdoor (EU) (Mesh) Failing.....

Challenge:

I connected the EAP 225-outdoor (wired) to my SG2210P switch. All seems fine, it seems to work and is properly adopted.

Then i detach the wire and plug it in a POE adapter pure for power. So no wired network connections there. In this case i am relaying om my mesh settings to pick it up. Which i tested with the EAP 245 which was picked-up but this EAP 225-outdoor isn't. All settings are network configured, so the same as the 245 which worked.

So then i reset the EAP 225 to see if it is pickup by the network without a wire. To make sure the EAP is in good range (which i also tested...) And yes, I see it popping up in my controller. Press adopt and all seems well. But then after the configuration is done it is disconnected and doesn't come back.

So i think it has to do something with the configuration? But what is this differant then the EAP 245?

What can I try and trouble shoot to figure out this issue?

  @NklinK

Have you enabled channel limit on site config? if so the lowest channel on EAP225-Outdoor is channel 100, if you other ap is on lower channel connection is not posible.
