Looks likexan announcement for Omada controllers.  Is your ER707 set up in standalone mode?

  @d0ugmac1 Cloud based controller management is disabled.

I don't think you want this off, it looks like it might be the 'heartbeat' of the router, which I now see is actually managed by a local controller:

controller":{"id":"c21f969b5f03d33d43e04f8f136e7682"}}}

Since it's a broadcast packet, it shouldn't leave the local routing domain...so no need to worry about it hitting the internet.

If your security requires it, then you just need to segment the admin and user networks with VLANs and ACLs to prevent potential bad actors from seeing the packet.

  @d0ugmac1 I don't have an Omada SDN Controller, I'm using Standalone Mode.

Was the device ever managed by a controller?

  @d0ugmac1 Not on my network, I guess I should do a factory reset? It's V1 hardware so maybe second had ordered from Amazon.

Reset doesn't help, still broadcasting same controller id. Hacked firmware? The router is in Standalone mode, it should not be trying to talk to a controller, standalone gui is supposed to be disabled in controller mode.

Even in standalone mode, routers are able to be adopted by controllers.  Given this is a broadcast packet, and likely only broadcast on the admin domain of 192.168.0.1, it's only visible inside your network.  If you have users you'd rather not be able to see this packet, then move them to another subnet/VLAN and write the ACLs.

You could also request this as a feature in the appropriate forum, but I doubt anyone would support it as it could create a lot of user headaches down the road if they were able to disable this 'announce' feature.
