Firmware Version: 1.2.0

Hi;

I've been having constant connection problems for the last few weeks. Internet pages do not load for a few minutes and the connection is lost.

The same problems are experienced on all devices (20-30 devices). There is also a problem with devices that receive a fixed IP.

When I look at the log records, there are hundreds of notifications. These notifications keep coming.

Why does the connection keep getting disconnected? Why am I receiving periodic IP notifications?

@Clive_A I found the cause of the problem.

There is a 4G modem connected to 3 WAN ports. When I disable these modems, other ISP's work fine.

Is it possible to have a scenario where the mobile modem or USB modem works without any problems? Is there any adjustment that needs to be made?

WAN disconnects and reconnects. There is no problem on ISP. The modem is always online and works without any problems.

Why do I always have this problem?

Hi @Addwork

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

TBH, what you gave in the description does not mean useful to me.

I don't know why it disconnected because there is nothing helpful I know. You did not mention what you configured, or what you set on the router. Neither did you mention what changes you have made recently.

DHCP notification is the new firmware feature. It now records the DHCP interaction. If you don't like this notification, turn it off if you are in controller mode. If you are in standalone mode, change the level of the notification to only the category you want to see.

(This new feature has been discussed recently. If you move your m&k and search it, it would be pretty easy to find.)

Hugh, I don't see any issue with the 1.2.0 firmware in the little lab next to my desk. So, did you Wirehsark and monitor your ISP?

If you really believe this is an issue with the router, wire your PC to the modem/ISP fiber directly and use ping to test the stability of your ISP connection.

The WAN down would only occur when the router fails to resolve the domain 3 times and it turns down/offline. So that means your ISP has a congestion or short-time down.

Might take a second to read this KB. QA part.

I am not sure about your question. Is this a question about the repeated DHCP log entries or WAN up/down?

If WAN is up and down, you might contact your ISP about this. 4G LTE might not be stable, you know, the signal might vary and you gotta switch between different endpoints. So, if it fluctuates, expected to be normal.
