Can I install an eap225 with antennas pointing down? It will be located in a parking garage with a concrete ceiling with cavities and I'd be looking to have the antennas stick down into the space below the celing to get better coverage of wifi... Are there any other outdoor models that would be a better fit?

I'd be more concerned about vandalism (intentional or otherwise). If it were me, I would be mounting the AP inside an ABS or metal enclosure with EMT for the ethernet feed. Then use something like the antenna below mounted through a h0le in the protective enclosure (instead of supplied bracket), and spray paint the entire box+antenna an entirely uninteresting gray colour.
