Hi.

 

First, the forum needs updated--EAP773 isn't selectable as a model.

 

Second, there's a firmware update notice for the 773s to 1.0.12, but there's no references anywhere to it, not even a beta, but it appears to have gone straight to GA?

 

Third, the original firmware, 1.0.9, isn't available on the product support page, so it's not possible to revert if issues are encountered with 1.0.12.

Would it be possible to get a link to 1.0.9 so that its possible to revert? 

I understand the posting of the updates for new firmware is delayed from when it comes available in the Omada UI, but is it possible to see the release notes and what's in the update?  Normally I'd look at what was in the beta, but since there wasn't one...

The beta/pre-release firmware will not apply for each version especially for the firmware of new products. Understand your concern, for the support page in our official website, I will try to forward the request and hope the relevant files will be uploaded soon.

 

And if you are worried about the firmware upgrade issue, you can wait for the official website update. If there is any issue after upgrading when the file has not been uploaded at the official website, you can contact the support team and see whether they can provide the related firmware file.

I am curious to know what sort of time frame is involved from when a new firmware is released in other regions to when it becomes available to us here in Australia.

 

I have just purchased and received a new EAP773(EU) v1.0 and I found it has firmware version 1.0.9 installed.

Being an EU Model I checked the UK web site and I noticed they have version 1.0.13 available but I heed the warnings about using the correct firmware for your region\country.

So imagine my disappointment when the Australian site offers no firmware updates.

Looking at the revision history it appears that some of the things that have been resolved would merit the firmware being made available in Australia.

 

As I believe the later version would result in fewer support calls to TP-Link I would have thought it is in their best interest to do the necessary modification for this region\country and make them available.

 

Hopefully this situation will improve.

funny you mentioned regions.

 

because for malaysia, they suggested on their own site for us to use the US firmware version.

EAP773(US)_V1_1.0.13 Build 20240417

 

So i guess that is what i will use since it's what their site pointed to for Malaysian users

 

 

does anyone whether MLO works now using V1_1.0.13 for the Samsung S24 Ultra? I'm not part of the closed beta so i don't know whats the current status on that sad
