Model: TL-SG1005P-PD
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I am before purchase of TL-SG1005P-PD switch, I would use it for 4 IP security cam via POE (6W/each), type: Hikvision DS-2CD2347G2H-LI.

Based on the specification of the switch, it's POE budget is: 802.3af (type 1): 9W 802.3at (type 2): 21W 802.3bt (type 3): 47W 802.3bt (type 4): 66W

Based on the details, I am not sure, this switch can work for 4 pieces of 6W camera. The switch will get the power from a TP-LINK POE160S POE injector.

Would it be a well performing system?

Thanks, Daniel

Hi @_Daniel85

Thanks for posting in our business forum.

160S = PoE at.

I don't think you are okay with that. At least you are risking 3W deficit. And you might experience problems with that.
