Hello.

I have Omada network and I want to add new networks for our service and maybe other office. There is one building, our office and service, and a part rented for another office.

Our network can run on vlans but I want to connect rented office to the router e.g. LAN2 with different network as 192.168.1.x. How to set it up so the network for rented office is separated and a completely different address?

Also, please follow this link to add PVID 10 to the port that connects the unmanaged switch.

So, you need to create two VLAN interfaces and pick the right LAN interface for the SG3428 and the unmanaged switch separately.

  @Hank21 I can use it to create VLAN for our office but I want to create different network for rented office and bypass the switch. LAN1 in router is for one office with 172.16.10.x and VLANs on switch 172.16.20.x ... 172.16.30.x etc. LAN2 in router is for rented office witch their address as 192.168.1.x. and their unmanaged switch.

You could Navigate to Settings > Wired Networks, then LAN > Networks. To build a VLAN for the unmanaged switch, pick the port that connects it as the LAN interface.The same goes for configuring the other switch.

I created a new network and assigned a port, but after connecting to this port I still get the address from the main network.

 

In the first network I have all ports selected and I can't edit it. All ports are selected.

Oh, thats it! Thank You. So now all that's left is to block communication between these ports, vlans 1 and 10. If I think correctly, this can be done via Switch ACL from this link How to configure Multi-Networks & Multi-SSIDs on Omada SDN Controller | TP-Link Polska
