Model: EAP225-Wall
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Hello,

I have had a Omada EAP225 controller for several years that works very well.

But I have to make changes.

My router is a Freebox Revolution with a HOME SSID.

The EAP225 has the same SSID configuration and wifi password.
My network is in DHCP with addresses from 192.168.1.2 to 192.168.1.200. The DNS server is 192.168.1.254

I can’t find the IP address in the active IP addresses.

I downloaded the Omada_Controller_Windows_v5.14.32.3 and found the EAP225 in unknown devices. Its IP address is 192.168.0.4 !!!

I can’t adopt him !!!

I can’t connect to EAP225 with tplinkeap.net anymore

I can’t connect to EAP225 with the IP address 192.168.0.4

I tried to disable the Freebox’s WIFI in order to keep only the EAP225’s wifi.

tplinkeap.net also does not work

I cannot connect the EAP225 to the network cable of the PC because the EAP225 is connected on a POE box

What can I do to access my EAP225?

Thank you for your help

 Hi @jlchaps

The fastest way is to factory reset the EAP and plug it into the router.

Here are the general steps to factory reset a TP-Link EAP device:
The reset button is located in a small hole on the back or bottom of the device. We need to use a pin or pen to press and hold the reset button for about 8–10 seconds. While holding the reset button, the device's lights may flash and the device may restart.
Once the device has been reset, it will revert to its factory default settings, and you will be able to see it on the pending list of the controller.
Please note that performing a factory reset will erase all the customized settings on your TP-Link EAP device, so you will need to reconfigure the device after resetting the password.
