No internet connection on one AP
No internet connection on one AP

Hi!
I ran into another problem, and I suspect my settings miss still something.
I have the ER706W wifi router, set up with 2 VLANs (both with their own wifi/SSID, and ACL for both gateway and EAP which blocks access from one VLAN into the other in both directions. Now I am adding two EAP610 (v3), for the moment both meshed to the ER706W, in the longterm they'll be wired to it. For testing, I am using only one of the EAP610 for now.
The problem: Devices connected to the EAP don't get internet connection, while on the wifi-router on the same SSID they have no problems. The WLAN setting has both EAP and Gateway enabled, I can connect, get IPs, see the clients in the controller. But they don't connect to the internet.
Other settings: Mesh, Auto Failover, Fast Roaming, AI-Roaming all enabled. Band steering disabled. WPA-2, 802.11r enabled. No WLAN Optimization since it is disabled for Mesh.
Any idea what I might miss?

@Vincent-TP Thanks! Actually, deleting the two EAP ACL (which were duplicating gateway ACL) fixed it! Not sure if I understand the difference in between the three layers of ACL...
So now everything is working!
Odd issues (not major) I still have:
- still, some wireless clients get displayed as wired in the controller
- as soon as I add the (mesh) AP, in the Android app the client list gets empty. The clients still show up on the dashboard and in the topology map, but not in "clients" (on the controller this is fine, just in the Android app..)
- more a question then an issue: I see in the LAN settings for the default LAN a help tooltip on the VLAN option "...Make sure the gateway default VLAN and SSID VLAN are different. Otherwise, Mesh APs might be disconnected." Not sure what this means... I am using two VLANs, the default (1) and (2), both have a SSID. Should I keep the default (1) without SSID, and create my two SSIDs with two different VLAN IDs, e.g. (2) and (3)? Or is my setup ok?

Hi @antondd
Can you see the connected clients on belowEAP's page?
On the wireless clients, please ping the following IP addresses in order and let us know from which IP did the ping failed:
1. the EAP's IP address;
2. the router's LAN IP address;
3. the router's WAN IP address;
4. the gateway IP adress;
5. 8.8.8.8;
6. google.com

@Vincent-TP Thanks for your answer!
First, probably unrelated: A bunch of wifi devices show up as wired, and I can't force them to the EAP610.
I moved my laptop to the EAP610 (tried both units with the same result, but of course I wasn't expecting a difference), and as soon as it connected to the AP instead of the wifi-router ER706W, it lost connection to the controller. I saw it in the Android app nevertheless in the topology map view and in the AP's client list that the laptop was connected to the AP now. Strangely, the Android app showed a totally empty client list, even though about 12 devices were connected, the list filled later again after I unplugged the AP. Might be just another hickup of the Android app, no idea.
I tried pings now from this laptop to the EAP610 to which it was connected to and to the router's LAN IP, both failed. From devices connected directly to the wifi-router, I can ping the router and have internet connection.
What does this mean?
Could this be related to my ACLs which might be incorrectly? As said, I have two VLANs (each has a LAN and SSID), #1 and #2, all devices are currently in VLAN #1. I set up deny ACLs in between both networks in both directions, in both the Gateway ACL and the EAP ACL tabs, so in total 4 rules. Is this correct, or should they be only in one of the tabs? Or anything else?

Hi @antondd
I believe this is partly related to the ACL settings.
No need to configure this for both Gateway ACL and EAP ACL, you may delete one.
Are the EAP showing connected on the controller?
Please use an Ethernet cable connect the EAP into the router to see if the Internet works.

Hi @antondd
Happy to know the mesh AP worked now!!
As for the APP issue, what's the version of the APP? Please check if there is any new update available.
Should I keep the default (1) without SSID, and create my two SSIDs with two different VLAN IDs, e.g. (2) and (3)? Or is my setup ok?
>>>It's ok as long as you can get internet access from both of the SSIDs.
In the meantime, you can refer to the following link:

@Vincent-TP Yes, happy it works now, and I'll check out the VLAN setup guide, might change the IDs when I have time!
Regarding the Android app (minor issues, and I don't care much but I guess these should be fixed):
I just updated the app to v4.22.13, and the issue that the client list is empty in the bottom "client" tab, but showing up correctly in the dashboard and the topology map. Further, the topology map shows an incorrect time directly after reloading, it seemed it did not make last weekend's change to daylight saving time. (worked a long time ago briefly in software testing, I guess other people would not have seen this...)

Finally found out how to set daylight saving on the controller, so this fixed it in the app as well...

Hi @antondd
Thanks for sharing.
Do you mean the client tab is still empty with the latest APP?
Would you please share some screenshots of the topology paged and the client page?

@Vincent-TP Sure, here are screenshot from the app (version as above, Pixel 8 with everything updated)

Hi @antondd
Thank you so much for the screenshots.
One more info: are these clients displaying on controller's web interface?
We want to know if this is the APP issue or the controller issue.
Please have a check on the controller's web interface:
